Reading is becoming more and more difficult with social media and television taking up most of the time. And frankly, I think I stopped trying. I no longer fight an urge to go to twitter or Linkedin, or even Quora. I no longer enjoy Facebook that much.
So reading is minimal, but still here are the two books I am pretending to read ;) :
1. Orhan Pamuk's My Name is Red: Whatever little I have read suggests that it is an amazing book but I have read just 50-60 pages. A guy is murdered and his soul is suffering because the body is yet to be buried...LoL. I know it sounds hilarious but actually it is quiet interesting considering it is in first person and totally holds the interest.
2. I am reading the poetry of Bulleh Shah, a well-known Sufi poet and contrary to what I had thought I am enjoying it quiet a bit. very deep meaning and i end up reading the same poem again and again to understand it. I generally don't enjoy poetry so this is a discovery and I intend to finish this one soon.
