As I sit down to update my blog a thousand thoughts cross my mind. What is the year going to be like? It can be a continuation of all that has been happening over the last few years or it can really be a new beginning in so many ways. I have decided to focus on a few key things this year. Firstly, I am trying (trying real hard) to be more patient. I am much more patient as a person than I was say 10 or even five years back but clearly there is (a lot of ) scope for improvement.
Professionally, my KRAs have changed dramatically and this year will see me doing many new things. I am excited about some and not looking forward to the others. Overall not a bad spread. On the same track I definitely need to develop some new skills for my growth. I am already exploring some new courses...let's see what shape my career takes in the coming two-to-three years.
The book is definitely on the radar and is likely to be finished by the end of March. I am absolutely serious about this. It might or might not get published but it will definitely be written. For my own self-esteem if nothing else.
Lastly, my weight struggle continues. I hope and pray to lose some weight this year. But the track record is quiet bad. Every year I hope (and even try!!) to lose some weight but by the end of the year I have usually gained some more.
