This festival season I resolve to
- To not feel guilty every time I go out with my friends or spend money on myself (this means that I can now buy that Tommy Hilfiger watch I am dying to own for the last two years, and yes that Hi-Design bag and ….well, lets just say the list is endless).
- I will not do things I do not really want to do just to please and/or impress other people. (this entails that I dont take calls just to be polite; that I dont go for movies I dont want to and so on and so forth;). This also means that its ok to be rude sometimes (not always though otherwise nobody will wish you on your birthday...)
- To deactivate the chat for at least two hours in a day (I know I know this is almost impossible—somebody might ping me to tell me his/her dying wish or somebody might have bought a new pair of shoe and i might not get to know about it). This obviously also means that we disconnect the net on the mobile. (sounds like a death sentence))
- To make an effort to spend time with my friends. find time for my friends by hook or by crook (its kinda embarrassing when you call them and go on ranting your tale of woes for about 2 mins and they finally stop you to ask, "Am sorry, but whos calling?")
- To not postpone the visits to parlor (which means I plan a visit before my eye brows start reminding people of Shah Rukh Khan and my nail paint resembles the map of Africa. Phew!).
