I recently visited Ooty or Ootacamund or Udhagamandalam and thoroughly enjoyed the break. Here’s a snapshot of our time there:

Being a coffee addict I couldn’t resist putting this pic. It is from a local Cafe Coffee Day :D. By the way you get only filter coffee in Ooty, which was a problem for me till I discovered this Cafe Coffee Day about one and a half kilometre from our hotel...
While at Ooty, please don’t miss the Pykara Falls and Lake. Speed boating at Pykara is one of my fondest memory of the trip. An absolute must!!!

Tea gardens at Coonoor, which was also the location of the recent hit, Kapoor & Sons. Tea gardens look like a green carpet laid out especially for you. We did buy a lot of tea and handmade chocolates.
However for various reasons beyond our control, we were unable to travel in the famous Toy Train...now here’s the reason to visit Ooty again!!
