Yesterday my 11-year old asked me if I used to gossip in school. I wanted to laugh aloud but kept a straight face and said, "Of course sweetie we all do but never ever about people we are close to." Maybe I should have said, "Oh God...no never. It is a horrible habit and you should never ever do it again." But let's be human please. Its not like she will stop doing it if I tell her not to.
